6 academies rejected the study of GM maize causing cancer

The study concluded that genetically engineered (GM) corn for mice tested in the laboratory is just a misleading scientific event.

It is a statement of commitment of 6 French Academy of Sciences, including the Academy of Agriculture, Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, Technology and Veterinary Research, to be delivered on October 19.

According to these scientific institutes, the conclusion of NK603 transgenic corn causes cancer in mice, not unlike herbicides, was published in September 2012 by Gilles-Eric Seralini at Caen University. Europe, is not reliable.

Is the NK603 transgenic corn study causing mouse cancer wrong?

Scientists have accused Seralini of deliberately connecting the media to promote their findings. But Seralini's research is very poor and full of gaps and deviations. Shortly thereafter, the government opened an official study of research with the participation of 6 French Academy of Sciences.

The results showed that the Seralini study lacks the method and the explanations and data given are not enough to refute the previous study that NK603 is harmless to both humans and animals. Seralini's research is allegedly used to inflate fame and may have committed serious crimes when shouting fear in the public when making conclusions that have never been grounded.

That study was erroneous based on the study of 100 mice divided into 10 male and female groups over a period of 2 years, while the standard for studying the effect of genetically modified plants on animals was only 90. day. The analytical results also showed no significant difference between the food-eating rat groups NK603 and other foods.

Seralini does not have any reaction to the comment of the Academy.
