A huge crocodile protruded up from the water, reaching high above the boat's roof to bait the stick on the visitor's hand.
Dominator , a saltwater crocodile about 5.5-6.1m long, appeared on the Adelaide River in the Northern Territory, Australia last week to scoop up meatbreads hanging from the sticks of boat travelers, according to News.com. .au.

The crocodile lives downstream of the river, away from the 5m-long crocodile named Brutus , famous for its similar jump out of the water in 2011. Previously, sometimes during the rainy season, Brutus appeared with marks Large injuries have not healed on me yet and the left front leg is amputated.
People who often visit the area believe that Dominator caused a new scar on Brutus but Morgan Bowman, co-owner of the Adelaide River Cruises, believes the culprit is another animal.

According to Bowman, the two crocodiles learn to stay away from each other for years and respect each time the enemy wins the bait. In the dry season, when food becomes scarce, both crocodiles often stand up on the water to take advantage of the pieces of forced meat at the end of the stick thrown by visitors.
"Dominators certainly don't like Brutus, but we are very careful to separate them away. Brutus is recovering well but obviously he needs more time. We are very careful when feeding him to avoid further injury." , Bowman shared.
