Giant crocodile cannibalism

A fishing guide in Australia captured the scene of a 5m long crocodile gobbling its kind.

Warren Smith, a fishing guide on the Tiwi Islands in Australia, took rare photos of his giant cannibalized crocodile scene, on a fishing trip last weekend.

'While fishing at Snake Bay, we suddenly found a giant crocodile chewing another crocodile in its mouth. I took the camera and recorded that scene, ' Mr. Smith recounted. Mr. Smith estimated the large crocodile 5m long and the small crocodile 3m long.

The Australian fishing guide said that his boat was only about 10m away from the giant crocodile and the fishermen were very thrilled when witnessing that scene.'It is very rare to witness a scene like this. I have been doing this for more than 20 years and have only seen such scenes a few times, ' Mr. Smith added.

The picture of a crocodile eating buffalo weighing about 300-400kg was taken by Mr. Smith during a fishing trip last year.

Mr. Smith said crocodiles often eat cannibalism, especially during the breeding season when the mother alligators protect their children. Last year, when fishing with his sons, Mr. Smith also took pictures of a crocodile eating a buffalo weighing about 300-400kg.
