Catch the giant crocodile
Recently, the Australian online community has shared a picture of being killed and hung up high.
The crocodile is 4m long.
This crocodile is about 4 meters long and is likened to 'monsters' because of its size. The person standing next to the crocodile in the picture is too small for this 'saltwater monster' .
One question many people ask is whether this crocodile is illegally killed. In Australia, saltwater crocodiles are protected and only allowed to kill if authorized by the government.
In the photo posted, the photographer commented: 'Pull up this monster from the Nam Johnstone River'. After the photo was uploaded and received thousands of shares, the owner had to delete this photo. However, investigators have been informed of the case and are investigating. They suspect the crocodile is illegally killed.
Senator Bob Katter said he did not care whether the crocodile was illegally killed because the number of these species in Queensland is increasing dramatically. With illegal crocodile killing, violators will be fined more than USD 28,000.
Saltwater crocodile is the largest reptile in the world, can be up to 7 meters long and weighs 1.2 tons. They are also the largest animal that prey on shore.
