Catch the 2.8m long crocodile that once swallowed a man

On November 21, Malaysia authorities caught a crocodile that was supposed to swallow a man.

The crocodile, 2.8m long, weighs about 200kg, was caught by the wildlife rescue team (SWAT) in Batang River, Mukah area, Sibu district, Sarawak state, Malaysia.

SWAT units used 13 traps installed within a five kilometer radius from where the victim was last seen, to attract alligators in a special search that took place from the morning of November 21.

According to the SWAT announcement, this particular search activity also has active participation of the villagers who are well aware of the area.

Earlier, authorities were informed that Mr. Sili Ismail, 60, had gone fishing in the river 10 days earlier but did not return home.

Rescuers deployed a search team and found the victim's boat capsized on the river bank.

Based on the bite found on the victim's boat, the experts concluded that Sili was attacked by a crocodile.
