1. Nile River
The Nile consists of three different water-color sections, called the White Nile, the Blue Nile and the main Nile. Originating in Burundi (Rwanda - Central Africa) this river flows into Lake Victoria , on the border of Uganda - Tanzania and Kenya. From this lake, a branch flows into Sudan to the capital Khartoum, called the White Nile. Also from this lake, another branch flows through Ethiopia to Khartoum, called the Green Nile. And from here is called the main Nile, continues to flow through Sudan, Egypt and then into the Mediterranean.
The total length from the source is 6,671 km. The entire river basin is 3,349,000 km2 wide. Since ancient times, the river has brought silt to both sides, creating a large delta of Egypt . The two banks of the Nile, especially in Egypt and Sudan, have been one of the important cradles of human civilization.
2. Kilimanjaro volcano
Also known as a lonely volcano , because it is not in a population like other volcanic regions. This mountain is 5,895 m high, one of the most climbable volcanoes in the world. The foot of the mountain is the fields of banana or coffee. Mountain slopes are 7-10 m tall trees. From 3,000 m or more are grasslands and bushes. Here, people can meet a few pregnant elephants for food. From 4,000 m further up is the harsh climate, only mosses and ferns.
Snow-covered peaks, there are 3 craters: Kibo, Mawensi and Shira, the largest mouth is more than 2 km in diameter. Kilimanjaro is Africa's largest volcano and also ranks among the world's largest and most beautiful volcanoes.
3. Great valley due to earth cracks (The Great Rift Valley)
20 million years ago, the earth's crust was weak, creating a crack from southwestern Asia that ran to East Africa. On the African continent, the cracks stretched thousands of kilometers from the southwestern shore of the Red Sea through the countries of Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, downstream of the Zambezi river in the Mozambique valley. In some places this valley is more than 100 km wide, the narrowest place is 45 km, on both sides is a rugged cliff of cat ears. There are nearly 2,000 m high cliffs, the lowest place is nearly 600 m.
Throughout the thousands of kilometers, this valley has countless hot springs and many small lakes with fish and algae. Millions of birds meet here to find food.
4. Serengeti antelope field
Serengeti fields are also called copper of antelopes. Although with the goat family, the head of this antelope resembles a cow's head, with a weight of a ton. Copper antelope in northern Tanzania is bordered by Kenya and Lake Victoria, famous for its many wild animals, lions, and crocodiles, including zebras, but the largest are wildebeest .
Each herd of antelopes and zebras pulls into herds, sometimes up to 50 km long, returning on a distance of 800 km along the North-South length to feed in the season. Antelope swim slowly, run quickly. Along the way, they are good prey for crocodiles and lions. To compensate the population, antelopes have a very rapid reproductive capacity. Children are only pregnant for 3 months. After being born for 7 days, the antelope has stood firm and followed her mother. Those who are weak cannot stand and are abandoned and the whole herd goes on.
5. Sahara Desert
This is the hottest place on earth, with hot spots of up to 57.7 degrees Celsius. With an area of 9 million km2, the Sahara desert runs 5,000 km from east to west Africa, including Mauritania, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Lynia. , Egypt, Sudan, Niger and Mali.
In this vast desert, only about 200,000 km2 are fertile oases with dates and some fruit trees. These oases are below sea level. Without them, crossing the Sahara could not be done.
The Sahara occupies one-third of Africa's area, nearly the size of the United States, without any borders. Through satellite imagery, it can be seen that during the Sahara period, it was spread because of the heavy drought in the periphery, there was also a greener period and the Sahara narrowed.
6. Lake Victoria
With an area of 69,000 km2 and a circumference of 3,440 km, Victoria is Africa's largest freshwater lake and second in the world. The lake is located in the region of the borders of Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. The northern half of Uganda, the southern half of Tanzania, and the northeastern part of Kenya.
Many small islands on the lake have beautiful landscapes, a tourist and relaxation place. There are many historical monuments around the lake, showing that in the old days, there was agricultural activities.
7. Table Mountain
The mountain is flat like a huge table. Table Mountain is off the coast of Cape Town (the tip of South Africa). There are many roads with many beautiful scenes leading up to the giant table top 1,086 m high, but visitors often come here by cable car for a few minutes.
The top of the mountain is very wide, there are many restaurants. This is very cold, rarely clear, often covered with clouds. Visitors come here like living in a half-dream scene. Around the top of the mountain, there are hamsters that are almost like tiny elephants lying on the rocks waiting for visitors to feed.
