The Xinhua News Agency said the 2F rocket carrying the Shenzhou 9 ship left the launch pad successfully at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Gansu Province (in the Gobi desert in northwestern China) at 18 37 minutes on June 16 (local time, 17:37 minutes on the same day as Vietnam time).

In addition to the first Chinese astronaut Liu Yang (Liuyang), 33, a major pilot of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the Shenzhou 9 also carried two other astronauts, Jing Haipeng ( commander) and Liu Wang.

All three will carry out the historic mission for the first time a manned spacecraft assembled with the Tiangong-1 module, also known as Thien Cung 1, the first component that China launched into the month orbit. 9/2011 to build their own space station.

It is expected that after two days of flying through space, the Than Chau 9 will fly to connect automatically with Thien Cung 1 in an orbit of 343km. Later, astronauts will enter the Thien Cung 1 module to perform scientific experiments.

If this 13-day mission ended well, China would become the third country after the Soviet Union and the United States to achieve the task of bringing a woman into orbit with her own cosmic technology. At the same time, it confirmed the rapid development of their space science industry in recent times.

In 2003, the most populous country on the planet was named in the list of countries capable of bringing people into space (along with Russia, the US) with the Shenzhou 5 with an astronaut.

Two years later, China raised the number of astronauts on the Shenzhou 6 ship to two. The year 2008 marked a step forward for the Chinese space technology industry by launching the Shenzhou 7 ship with three astronauts.

During this flight, China became one of the three countries (along with the US and Russia) capable of bringing people into space and carrying out aerial walks.

In addition, in two years 2007 and 2010, China also twice launched Chang'e probe (Hang Nga) to orbit the Moon to prepare for the ship landing on Ms. Hang's surface in 2013 and beyond. is bringing people to set foot on the Earth's natural satellite in 2017.
