Russia: Freight ships cannot reach the expected orbit
The ITAR-TASS news agency on August 24 led a source in the rocket-space industry, saying Russia's M-12M Progress cargo ship did not reach its expected orbit.
According to the source, after the cargo ship was launched into the space of 350 seconds, the ship's equipment recorded a pressure drop in the fuel tank, after which the vessel lost contact with the Control Center. Russian flight. However, the Flight Control Center has not yet confirmed this information.
The ship advanced M-12M
Earlier, at 17:00 (Moscow time), or 20 o'clock (Vietnam time), on August 24, the progress cargo ship M-12M was launched by the Joint rocket to the International Space Station (ISS). ) from Baikonur space airport in Kazakhstan.
This ship carries more than 2.6 tons of supplies to ISS, including food, water, fuel, machinery and mail from family members of the space crew working on ISS.
As expected, the progress cargo ship will be assembled with ISS on August 26.
