The first private spaceship is about to take off
Dragon, the first spacecraft built by a private company, will fly to the International Space Station (ISS) on May 19.
The AP said the Falcon 9 missile would bring the Dragon ship into orbit from the Kennedy Space Center in the state of Florida, USA. After flying into space, Dragon will move towards ISS. Joint operation between the train and the station will take place a few days later. Dragon ships carry supplies to the astronauts on the station.

SpaceX - a company based in California, USA - has designed the Dragon ship. If Dragon successfully connects with ISS tomorrow, SpaceX will become the first private company to bring goods to space.
John Holdren, chief scientific adviser of US President Barack Obama, said that Dragon's flight opened a new era for the US Aerospace Agency (NASA).
"By delivering private flights to ISS, for the first time, NASA can focus its resources and time on exploration operations farther than Earth's orbit for 40 years," Holdren said.
Many companies, including SpaceX, want to replace NASA in bringing people and goods to ISS after the US shuttle fleet stops working. Russia is currently the only country able to bring people and goods into orbit.
