90% of the world's languages ​​disappear in the 21st century

According to Daily Mail, researchers at Pennsylvania State University (USA) have warned that if people do not enhance environmental protection, by the end of the century, there are about 50% to 90% of these languages. the world will disappear.

The latest research shows that 70% of the world's languages ​​are distributed in key areas, there are many kinds of rich animals. However, these are the most serious environmental threats in the world.

They compared 35 key areas in the world, only 2.3% of the world, but more than half of the world's vascular plants (including gymnosperms, angiosperms, trees) ferns) and 43% of vertebrate species on the ground.

In these areas, 3202 types of languages ​​were discovered, accounting for half of the languages ​​available on Earth.

These specific languages ​​are available only in certain areas, while those who speak this language are getting less and less. This is also the reason why they are in the situation of gradually disappearing.

Scientists predict the future of human language is not optimistic. The local language will be replaced by common languages. Besides, local traditions and values ​​will also be replaced by tradition and industrialization value.
