During a trip to Hawaii, an American family caught a whale shark with a rope wrapped around their necks and they managed to save the animal from the endangered list.

Joby Rohrer, the father in the family, said: "We saw the animal swimming very slowly, it looked very painful. It had three scars on its neck because of the rope being strapped."

After filming a shark image video for a while, the family decided to coordinate to rescue the shark from the rope that was increasingly rubbing its neck. Only by diving and diving, Joby Rohrer dived to 18 meters, each dive for about 2 minutes to save the shark.
