Access Gmail via mobile phone
The world's number one search service company has officially launched Gmail Mobile, a "miniature" version of the popular mobile phone and device e-mail service.
The software automatically adjusts the interface depending on the screen size and allows opening attachments including Word documents, PDF formats and image files.
If the Gmail address list has a phone number saved, the user can directly make a call to reply to the received message.
Gmail Mobile is free to download via http://m.gmail.com, however, people need to contact the local mobile provider first because they can charge for using the service.
On the same day, Google also announced two new features for Gmail: automatic mail replies and sorting of contact groups.
