Adobe releases Reader 8
On December 5, Adobe announced the Reader 8 version for PDF file formats with the addition of many new features, typically the " Start Meeting " feature.
Adobe also redesigned the Reader interface and added the ability to zoom in on certain areas of the document.
Other features in Reader 8 include the integration of the new Adobe LiveCycle Policy Server and Adobe online Services Document Center, enabling users to use digital signatures in PDF documents.
And finally, as promised, Adobe has also integrated the basic RSS feature for Reader 8, along with new evaluation capabilities and markup tools.
Reportedly, the complete version of Adobe Acrobat 8 has been announced since November last. The new version of Adobe Reader 8 is available for download for Windows XP and Vista, and for Windows 2000 (Reader 8 version separately).
