America appeared strange fish from the sky

People in Alaska (USA) were surprised when they discovered strange fish appearing on the road in Fairbanks area.

Four long-bodied fish were discovered at locations far away from lakes and rivers in Fairbanks. Three of them died when found by people. Sue Valdrow, owner of a grocery store, said: ' Two men came into my shop and asked for a bucket of water. They said they found a strange fish right in the parking lot . ' Later, Valdrow put the fish about 30 cm long into the water tank and went to the police.

The four fish discovered by the people in the Fairbanks area are all rocky grouper . No one understood why these strange fish appeared on land. However, the Alaska Department of Fisheries believes that the 'culprit' of this unusual incident is the gull . The bird caught the grouper from the Chena River and dropped them while flying.

'If you look closely at these fish, you can see that both sides have small holes. This is a trace of a seagull or a similar bird, ' explains Mike Taras, an expert with Alaska Department of Fisheries.

Rocky fish are omnivorous fish and have very strange behavior. At birth, they did not see anything and often lived in mud for many years. The main food of baby rock grouper is moss and microorganisms. As adults, they live on parasites on other animals. Rocky grouper has round mouths with lots of teeth growing around. They use their mouths to cling to the skin of other species and suck blood to maintain life.

Sue Valdrow, who told the police about the live rocky grouper, said: 'I don't know what to do with these grouper from this sky. I have lived in Alaska for the past 12 years but have not seen any strange thing like this. '
