Ants can play the role of 'savior'

Researchers from Arizona State University said ants could prevent carbon dioxide from spreading into the atmosphere.

>>>CO2 capture technology is not commonly used

With factories, transports, etc. we are warming the earth non-stop but ants can fix our mistakes.

In the study entitled "Ants As A Powerful Biotic Agent Of Olivine And Plagioclase Dissolution" , researchers have shown that ants can store calcium and magnesium , turn these elements into limestone and when they do so They will make carbon dioxide trapped.

It is possible that carbon dioxide is removed from the atmosphere when ants use their saliva to attach sand grains to the wall on their nest. There are many ants in the world so if all of them are capable of reducing carbon dioxide, it will be very effective.

Ronald Dorn, a geologist at Arizona State University, explained this issue on Live Science as follows: "We don't know whether ants have absorbed carbon dioxide by licking or digesting, most likely a bacterium. Someone in the intestine of ants or a type of fungus growing in ants has done this ".

In any case, ants are still plying them every day to help us reduce the greenhouse effect. If we understand how the ants have done, we will soon be able to recreate the planet's "degrading" atmosphere.
