A mutated piglet has appeared in Cambodia, making it look like a hybrid of pigs and elephants.

This piglet was born in Pramaoy region in western Cambodia with a long tap and big ears like elephant ears. The small animal was very thin, limping and could not open his eyes. Images of this piglet make viewers both surprised and sympathetic.

It is not clear whether this pig is still alive, and what causes its appearance distortion.

Previously in 2014, a similar looking piglet was born in Jilin, China, but only survived 2 hours after its birth.

The owner of the pig, a farmer, had to freeze it to hold it as a proof of its existence. Born in the same phase as the mutant pig, there were seven other pigs, all healthy.

In June 2015, a sow in China also gave birth to a mutated piglet with a severely deformed appearance. The little pig looks very much like a tapir - a herbivorous mammal with a pig-like body and long nose.
