Specifically, according to the report of the Department of Livestock and Veterinary Services in Quang Ninh province, on April 27, influenza A / H5N1 occurred in 1 chicken raising household in Dong 1 village, Lien Vi commune, Quang town. Yen of Quang Ninh province. Pandemic flu has caused 2,720 infected chickens, died on a total of 5,000 25-day-old chickens.

Representatives of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services in Quang Ninh province also said that on May 1, all infected chickens were destroyed by local authorities and local veterinary agencies according to regulations.

Previously, in Quang Ninh, there was an outbreak of H5N1 in a livestock household in Zone 2, Hai Yen ward, Mong Cai city (19 days have passed). The number of sick and dead poultry is 320 (240 ducks and 80 geese) and the number of poultry destroyed is 670 (570 ducks and 100 geese).

In Cao Bang province, 1 outbreak of A / H5N occurred in 2 households in Ngoc Xuan ward, Cao Bang city (it has been 12 days). The number of infected and dead poultry is 700, the number of destroyed ones is 2004, of which there are 1,974 ducks and 30 chickens.

In Can Tho city, there is 1 outbreak of A / H5N1 influenza occurred in 1 livestock household in Tan Phu ward, Cai Rang district (it has been 17 days). The number of infected birds is 100 chickens, the number of dead chickens is 75 chickens and the number of destroyed chickens is 2,500 chickens.

In Vinh Long province, there are 2 outbreaks of influenza A / H5N1 occurred in 1 household in My Thuan commune, Binh Tan district (over 18 days). The number of infected birds is 300 chickens, the number of dead chickens is 210 chickens and the number of culled is 400 chickens. And 1 poultry household in Dong Thuan ward, Binh Minh town (4 days have passed). The number of poultry infected, dead and destroyed is 4,000 chickens.

In the face of complicated developments of influenza A / H7N9 in China and some livestock households in some localities with flocks of avian influenza A / H5N1, A / H5N6, Department of Animal Health has advised the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development also directed the Department of Animal Health to guide localities in the prevention and control of avian influenza.

Veterinary Department representative also said that the risk of epidemic arising and spreading in the coming time is very high.
