Future Meat Technologies is currently focusing on creating muscle and fat cells that are the core foundation for creating artificial meat. This is one of many companies that are looking for technological solutions to meet the increasing demand for human flesh.

Yaakov Nahmias, a scientist and founder of Future Meat Technologies, said basically artificial meat has a production cost of about $ 10,000 a kilo, but so far his company has lowered it. 800 USD / kg and also had a "clear route" to reach the price of 5-10 USD / kg in 2020.

To this potential, Tyson's venture capital venture has poured $ 2.2 million into research projects on artificial meat development of Future Meat Technologies.

Market demand for meat is expected to double in the period from 2000 to 2050, when the world population is expected to exceed the 9 billion mark.

Proponents of artificial meat research say it is the only way to meet this demand without destroying the environment.
