Artworks made of liquid nitrogen
With incense sticks and liquid nitrogen, Mehmet Ozgur, a Turkish-born photographer, has created amazing works of art.
From the strange shapes created from smoke from thousands of photographs, Mehmet has combined them together, processed by layer overlapping techniques on computers to form incredible works of art. This is a meticulous process that requires high patience. "It is difficult to control the smoke, but it gives you a lot of free shaping materials," Mehmet said.
Mehmet added that his inspiration was completely different from the way ordinary photographs were taken. Mehmet Ozgur's smoke works were created with liquid sticks and nitrogen, not cigarette smoke, as some have criticized.
Mehmet Ozgur is currently producing tubes in Virginia, USA by selling his works through his personal website.
