Australia: List of series of cars and motorcycles not suitable for E5 gasoline

A recent article was published on the website of the Australian Chamber of Commerce (FCAL), the organization representing Australian manufacturers and importers of automobiles and motorbikes, listed a series of cars that did not match or E10 , in which there are quite a number of old cars similar to vehicles that are widely circulated in Vietnam.

Specifically, all types of cars - motorcycles are not suitable for E5 gasoline such as : Audi A3 1.8L 2000 years ago; Ford Laser produced from 1986 and earlier and several models produced between 2002 and 2004; All GM Daewoo cars; All Mazda cars except the Mazda2 produced in February 2005, Mazda3, Mazda6, RX8, MX-5 produced in July 2005 and from April 2006 onwards; All Suzuki cars manufactured before 2008; Toyota Camry jet engine produced before July 1989 or Toyota Hilux, Toyota Hiace produced before August 1997 .

From January 1, 2018, E5 bio-petrol will replace RON92.

For motorcycles - motorbikes , many old Honda and Yamaha models are also in the list of incompatibilities with E5 gasoline; Many models of Kawasaki motorcycles have similar results .

Types of vehicles that are incompatible with E10 : The Ford Focus models 2002 - 2004, Transit lifetime 1996 - 2004, 2007 Modeo; Lexus IS200 produced in May 2002; Peugeot 306 (XU engine); Many Subaru models existed from 1990 - 2005 . Some models of motorcycles and motorbikes are not compatible with E10 include: Ducati, Honda, Yamaha .

After many years of preparation, finally, on January 1, 2018, the domestic gasoline market will change, when E5 bio-petrol will replace RON92. With the arrival of E5, the domestic gasoline market from early next year will only have E5 and RON95 gasoline.

According to the latest information from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, 2 enterprises accounting for 65% of the petroleum market share are Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) and Vietnam Oil Corporation (PVOil) have prepared for completion, even has launched for sale 15 days earlier than expected.

Specifically, from December 15, both units have simultaneously implemented E5 petrol sales. Accordingly, PVOil implemented E5 petrol sale on the whole system, with more than 3,500 stores from December 15, 2017.
