The State Emergency Agency of New South Wales has issued a state of 'natural disasters' in areas such as Moree, Narrabri, Gwydir, Tenterfield . while the water levels in many rivers continue to rise at an alarming rate and risk of overflowing.

In Central and Southern Queensland, heavy rains that made water on the Maranoa River overflow the banks, causing people to flee and paralyze traffic.

The Australian Government has announced it will transfer disaster assistance funds to areas in disaster. The hydro-meteorological agency in this country predicts heavy rain with strong winds will be complicated and more likely to occur flash floods.
