A group of graduates from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) are creating the Apollo, which has the ability to regulate body heat and deodorize like NASA's astronauts.

A company called Ministry of Supply plans to start selling it for $ 130 at the end of the summer.

The idea received a lot of interest from members on the Kickstater startup website. Just three weeks after the project was posted on the site, the team received $ 195,000 in funding, exceeding $ 30,000 expected. With the extra money, the team will invest in making shirts that come in a variety of colors, sizes and designs.

Since its inception in December 2010, the company has sold some shirts and bras. Donations will help them expand their activities.

As explained on the Kickstarter page, this jacket has four main features for air conditioning. First of all, the temperature of the body increases as the temperature of the environment increases (such as when walking outdoors on a hot day), then returns the temperature to the body when the ambient temperature decreases (such as when entering room / air-conditioned building). Third, the antimicrobial coating of the coat and the silver scent help control odor-causing bacteria. Finally, the analysis of strings makes the shirt elastic to fit the body.

In addition, the production company also attaches great importance to the shirt design so that products are not 'home'.

At present, the fabric has been prepared to begin production. The company plans to only produce in the US.
