Marijuana can permanently destroy people's minds
Researchers found that the act of being addicted to cannabis while still in school can cause them to lose their intelligence, as shown by their low IQ, when they reach adulthood.
These people also face the risk of losing their ability to concentrate and memory failures in later years.
The heavy addicts while still in school will not be able to fully recover their intellectual abilities despite quitting drugs when they mature, according to the Daily Mail quoted experts of the King's London University (abbreviated King's - English) and Duke University (USA).
To draw this conclusion, the researchers analyzed data on more than 1,000 people in Dunedin (New Zealand), collected from their birth from 1972 to 1973.
IQ of the above group was measured when they were 13 and 38 years old. Each subject is also required to introduce a close friend or relative to provide additional relevant elements.
