Bahrein: Building a twin World Trade Center tower
World Trade Center (WTC) Bahrein is located on the avenue of King Faysal in Manama, the king of the kingdom and can see the whole Gulf of Arab - Persic. The development project consists of a twin tower, a large commercial center including an entertainment area, a park and many food stores.
Two triangular towers with a height of 240m, each tower consists of 34 floors of offices and an auxiliary floor with panoramic views. There are a row of trees around the twin towers. The project is expected to place 3 wind engines with a diameter of 29m horizontally between the two towers.
The sail shape of the twin towers helps to control the wind direction and increase the speed of wind passing between the two towers. Turbines will produce between 11 and 15% of the building's total electricity consumption.
Three covered parking lots will be located inside the twin towers and in the basement and other service spaces.
