Frightened by the immense power of the two gods, the demons are also afraid of the peach tree.
Just by seeing the peach blossom branches, they were scared to flee, losing their wallet.
However, by the end of the year, like other gods, 2 gods of Tra and Uom Luy must go to heaven to worship Ngoc Hoang.
Therefore, the elves are on the occasion of raging, dreadful effects of damaging villagers.
So the gods thought of a way, to keep demons from harassing, the people thought of a way to break the peach blossom branch into a jar.
If anyone does not break the peach branch, take pink paper to draw a picture of the two gods stuck in the front column to ward off the devil.
Just seeing the drawing on the pink paper was a test of running away.
Then year after year, every Tet comes, every house tries to break the peach blossom branch to plug in the house to eliminate demons.
However, later, people forgot the mystical meaning of this custom because they no longer believed in demons, gods like their ancestors.
From time to time, today the fresh peach branches still appear in every house on Tet holiday until spring, but its meaning is far from the custom of the past.
