The 57-year-old Strand photographer, floating on the ocean more than 1,600 km to capture this beautiful set of photos. He hired a special ship to join his students on an expedition in Iceland, Norway and Greenland. He made the trip to these latitudes in order to perfect his book on the Arctic, while also serving the purpose of teaching.
