Beijing uses anti-HIV drugs to treat corona virus

Beijing's government says some of the city's hospitals are giving patients with Corona virus, which has flared up from Wuhan, to apply anti-HIV drug treatments.

These two drugs inhibit the growth of viruses (ARVs), which block the ability of HIV to bind to healthy and reproductive cells, and are often used in combination to treat the disease.
