The experiment was conducted at a home security research center in South Carolina, USA, to test the superiority of improved building materials.

After being scoured by winds of 155 km / h, the house began to sway and shatter. The house next door is only slightly damaged outside.

In the first two experiments, both houses survived the 10-minute hurricane, but only when researchers opened the doors of each of the homes showed the difference.

In less than 10 minutes, the house is built according to the usual standard melts into pieces.

Tim Reinhold, chief engineer at the Richburg Insurance Building Center, says the stronger home has a construction cost of $ 5,000.

" The bottom line is that you need to ask yourself which house you would like to live in ," AP quoted Reinhold as saying.
