Calculate the age for the moon
British and German scientists claimed to have found the exact age of Ms. Hang. To date, the beautiful people have 4,527 billion years old. This number is arguably the most accurate ever.
The team from Oxford University and the University of Cologne and Muenster calculated the age of the moon by analyzing the rocks taken by Apollo astronauts from the moon. They measured the ratio of isotope decomposition of Tungsten 182 - very popular among the rocks of the moon, to calculate the age of Hang.
According to scientists, all radioactive isotopes decay and transform into different nuclear products over time.
Looking at the ratio of maternal isotope content to the amount of child nuclear product, and based on the rate of maternal isotope degradation, they can calculate how long the stone on the moon has existed.
The group acknowledged that the later calculation methods might give a more accurate figure, but the current estimate is still the most accurate, only a few dozen million years apart.
