Car changes shape

On 11-10, Toyota has launched a new personal transport vehicle with the name I-Real. This product can change shape when traveling and can interact with the media.

I-Real is a combination of the concept of personal mobility devices with navigation robots, interacting around. Like other previous Toyota personal mobility products, I-REAL uses 3 wheels (2 front wheels and 1 rear wheel).

In slow motion mode, the size of the wheels will be shortened to not occupy the area. But when traveling at high speed, the wheels will stretch out to adjust the center of gravity downwards to make moving more stable.

Through I-Real, Toyota also introduced a system that ensures safety for drivers and people around: market sensors (visibility around). These sensors will detect an imminent collision between a vehicle and a person or something, and alert the driver by making sounds and vibrations. At the same time it will also alert the surrounding objects through light and sound.
