The study was conducted by scientists at Bristol University (UK) and Dr. Angela Attwood was the team leader.

In the study, 159 male and female subjects were given light wine or beer with straight glasses and curved glasses.

Research shows that people who use a curved glass finish their beer for about 7 minutes, while those who use a straight glass drink it all in 11 minutes.

According to the results, the drinking time of those who use straight glasses is about 60% lower than those using bent glasses.

According to the researchers, curved glasses make it difficult for users to grasp how much beer or wine remains in a glass. Therefore, when using bent glasses, users will drink faster.

The study was published in PLoS ONE magazine.
