Through this conference, car manufacturers will establish 5 centers to examine various parts of the human body, as well as 2 centers for complete models.

The association hopes to launch 6 computerized models of men, women and women in low, medium and high shape from now until March 2001. The total cost is estimated at 19 million USD and will be paid by 9 car companies. These car manufacturers also call for the cooperation of other competitors in the car market.

Creating these models will produce sophisticated data that helps to understand the interaction between people and the environment in car accidents. These data will then be used in physical tests.
