Technology detects the possibility of traffic jams
Honda is testing a technology that detects the driver's ability to drive traffic jams, thereby offering the right speed for vehicles to drive.
>>> The vibration system helps to alert traffic accidents
According to research conducted by Exeter University in 2007, traffic congestion is not necessarily caused by accidents, sometimes because some drivers suddenly slow down and pull behind a series of slow-moving vehicles. resulting in jamming. This not only annoys the driver but also causes rear-end accidents as well as fuel consumption.
ACC detects potential traffic jams from the driver
It proposes proper speed to the means of circulation well
To address this problem, Honda's technical experts developed the Adaptive Control System (ACC) . ACC is responsible for tracking the acceleration and when it is noticed that the driver tends to create congestion, it is suggested to keep the gauge reasonable through the color coded display.
The ACC feature will be significantly improved if connected to a cloud service. The system on the automatic means of synchronous operation to maintain reasonable distance between means to avoid congestion.
Experiment results show that the average acceleration of the tank is 7%, saving 3% of fuel and acceleration by 23%, saving 8% of fuel when combined with cloud technology.
Honda is trying to bring the product to market. The ACC will be launched this year, first in Italy and next in Indonesia.
