Catch the Arowana weighing nearly 50kg in the Hau River

At 23 pm on February 22, two people (residing in Binh Minh district, Vinh Long province) caught the Arowana weighing nearly 50kg, nearly 1.7m long on the Hau River, near the Ninh Kieu wharf park area, Can Tho city.

After catching Dragon fish, because they do not know that this is a precious ornamental fish with high economic value, the two people beat fish and got crowded into Cho Chai market (Hung Phu ward, Cai Rang district, Can Tho city). ) for sale.

Because this is the first time to see strange fish, with big red scales like dragon scales, small heads, I have big round, flattened tail so people are afraid, do not dare to buy. Many people said that this is a "natural" fish so the two caught the Arowana frightened.

After that, the Dragon fish was carried by two villagers to Ba Chua Xu Temple in the village of Chai (area 3, Hung Phu ward, Cai Rang district) by burial.

On the morning of February 23, many people in Chai area rushed to the area of ​​Ba Chua Xu Temple to see the giant Arowana firsthand. Many connoisseurs playing ornamental fish also find their way to the place with the intention of buying back. However, seeing dead fish lying on the field, many people regret it.

Mr. Nguyen, owner of a ornamental fish shop in Ninh Kieu district, said that the giant arowana that the people caught was a feng shui aquarium, raised in a fortunate, prosperous house to be adopted by the people.

Mr. Nguyen affirmed that the Arowana that people caught on the Hau River could be released, because this is a precious ornamental fish, so it is difficult to appear normally in the natural environment. With the weight, color and length of the Arowana that people catch, if the fish is alive, it will sell tens of millions of dong or more.

Around 10 am on February 23, at the request of many people, the Ba Chua Temple of the Lady's Village Management Board brought burial dragons.
