A bizarre shaped fish was recently captured in the cold sea off the coast of northern Canada.

Fish has just been caught by Canadian fishermen
Dr. Nigel Hussey of the University of Windsor (UK), who discovered the long-nosed chimaera fish, said it was a strange-shaped fish and they often live in deep waters that humans never visit visit.
'If we search in deeper waters from 1,000 to 2,000 meters below sea level, we can find many individuals of this fish. Only one individual of the long-nosed chimaera was recorded in the Hudson Strait area , 'said Dr. Hussey.
Like all chimaera species, the chimaera long nose is a distant relative of sharks and rays. They have the sharpest and most developed tail, about 90cm long.
The long nose chimaera began to be noticed and studied by scientists after a photo was taken on a fishing boat in Nunavut posted online.
