'Chicken' from the lab will be sold in 2018
Scientists from Just Meat (Hong Kong, China) have reportedly created chicken from the laboratory and may sell it in the market in 2018.
Chicken from the laboratory will soon be marketed in 2018.
The company said it would be a major turning point when the company's products would not only include chicken but also a variety of categories such as chicken, beef, pork and seafood. These are all lab products that use cloning technology from living animal cells.
To create 'chicken' in the laboratory, scientists have chosen cells that can grow into 'chickens' like the real thing.
Thomas Bowman, head chef of Just Meat, said: 'With these special ingredients, I tell myself to try to make the best chicken dishes ever. It was a special chicken eating experience. '
The researchers also stressed that, with this new technology, we do not need to cause the death of chickens to have food that is real.
Currently, Just Meat has not said where it will sell special chicken from this lab. However, Just Meat claims that this chicken will be officially sold from now until the end of 2018.
