The international team of children with asthma and allergies examined the prevalence of asthma, seasonal allergic rhinitis and eczema for the first time in 1991, and later Research again in 2002.

They surveyed 193,400 children aged 6-7 years from 37 countries around the world for symptoms of asthma and allergies (wheezing) through young parents. They also interviewed about 304,680 children aged 13-14 from 56 countries with similar questions.

Both developed countries such as Britain, Canada, Sweden, New Zealand and developing countries like South Africa, Brazil and Iran all participated in the study.

Researchers found an increase in these diseases much higher in younger children. The most common disease is eczema in younger children and seasonal allergic rhinitis in both groups.

Meanwhile the symptoms of asthma seem to decrease in older children - contrary to previous research that is a high-risk group for this disease.

According to the researchers, the cause of this condition is due to pollution, diet, lifestyle, infection when young .
