More than 6,000 rare and precious specimens such as biological bones and sedimentary rocks were first announced after marine exploration and research.
China's Ministry of Natural Resources organizes the announcement of the discovery of deep-sea specimens at a depth of 500m in Qingdao, Shandong Province. A total of 6,062 specimens were found by 1,955 research stations, including some rare specimens such as multicellular nodules, hydrothermal ore, surface sediments, core sediments, biological bones, . These specimens are concentrated and widely distributed as multicellular nodules that are concentrated in the eastern Pacific Ocean or on the slopes of the southwestern Indian Ocean, the eastern Pacific slopes. Specimens are specifically published about the location, type and volume.
During the event, China Ocean Data Center also published information on 36 expeditionary voyages, data of more than 19,000 research stations and 1,309 data lists of hydro-meteorological and marine biology, ocean chemistry, experimental works during the period 1992 - 2017.
