China built the world's tallest building in 3 months

A Chinese corporation has unveiled its plan to build the tallest building in just three months.

Broad Group is planning to build Sky City skyscraper in Changsha City in Hunan Province (China). The building, consisting of 220 floors and has a height of 838m, will be home to 17,400 people. In addition, this building also has 1 hotel with 1000 rooms, 1 hospital, 5 schools, offices and 104 high-speed elevators.

With a height of 838m, the completed Sky City building will pass the Burj Khalifa building in Dubai to become the tallest building in the world. It will also be 530m taller than the Shard building in London - being considered the tallest building in Europe.

However, the most impressive thing about Sky City is that the Broad Group construction group plans to complete it within 90 days. 5 floors of the building will be completed within 1 day, thanks to the prefabricated method of blocks to save time.

Despite concerns about structural certainty, Broad Group said the nearly 1-kilometer-tall building will be able to withstand earthquakes of up to 9.0 on the richter scale. Last year, Broad Group also built a 30-storey building within 15 days.

It is expected that the Broad Group will hire about 3,000 workers to serve the project. The cost of the Sky City building is estimated at £ 400 million, lower than the building's cost of £ 940 million. Burj Khalifa house.

Currently, Broad Group is still undergoing final appraisals from the Chinese government, but it hopes to begin construction by the end of December this year and complete before April 2013.
