China has the highest asymmetric cable-stayed bridge in the world

China officially adopted the Baisha bridge, the world's tallest asymmetric cable-stayed bridge in Liuzhou town, Guangxi province, southern China.

The bridge is 1920m long, 38m wide and has only a 106m high tuning tower. The bridge tower is made up of 27 heavy steel burns totaling 4178 tons. The largest burner weighs 293.4 tons, equivalent to the mass of 70 adult elephants.

Baisha Bridge project was started in May 5/2015. After more than 3 years of construction, the bridge was officially put into operation from September 26.
