The bridge is part of the G65 high-speed road connecting the two cities of Baotou and Maoming . located near Jilin, Hunan, China.
There are 400 suspension bridges across the valley in the world but Ai Trai is the bridge with the longest main span.
The bridge was started construction in October 2007 and officially went into operation from 3/2012.
Ai Cau Bridge reduces the travel time between the capital of Hunan province of Changsha and the central city of Chongqing from a few days to 8 hours.
