China built the longest suspension hammock bridge in Asia

According to People, the bridge over the Long River, Yunnan Province, began construction in August 2011, a hammock suspension bridge across Asia's longest mountainous province. Long Giang Bridge is built by Bao Dang Thi Con Construction Company, with 97 box girders, 33.5m wide, 2,470m long, and withstand earthquake level 9. The total investment is up to 236 million USD.

China plans to open the car in June next year. The bridge will reduce by half an hour on the highway connecting the mountainous district of Dang Trung to Bao Son - the third largest city in Van Nam province, after Kunming and Khuc Tinh.
