China holds the world's largest dust shield
China is assembling a 17-kilometer dust screen at ports in Hebei province.

A 23m, 22m long dust screen is being assembled at the coal handling facility of Qinhuangdao Port Joint Stock Company, Hebei, China, QQ on Jan. 3 reported.
Once completed, it will be paired with a 5,000m long screen that was previously installed to surround the mineral and coal gathering areas in Qinhuangdao.

At that time, the dust shield system in the ports of Qinhuangdao, Caohejong and Huanghua of Hebei Province will be more than 17km in length, making it the world's largest dust screen.
They will help prevent dust from the port's operation area, addressing air pollution in the vicinity of the gathering yard.
