China launches automatic parking with robots
Robot parking in Nanjing City, China, only takes 2-3 minutes to park, helping to reduce difficulties for the driver and save space.
A subway station in Nanjing City, China, has just opened a car park with a robot, RT reported on January 19. It will make drivers less difficult to park their cars and save space.
" In a normal parking lot, each car needs about 40 m2, while we only need 15 m2," said the parking lot general manager.
Customers can book via mobile application and drive to the beach. When the shutters opened, they put the car in and left. The car was then lowered to the lower level, brought to the slider and moved to the parking lot.
The whole process takes about 2-3 minutes. When the vehicle owner returns, the robot will take the car to the elevator, where it is lifted to the upper floor to return it.
