Meteorological experts say this is the highest level since 30 years ago in this region. Usually in June, although located in a desert area, the temperature here only fluctuates around the landmark of 31 o C.

Meanwhile, drought is still widespread in large areas, resulting in more than eight million people lacking in clean water and countless starved animals. In the northern regions, especially in Inner Mongolia and Liaoning and Jilin provinces, the hardest hit.

According to Xinhua news agency, in Liaoning province, the corn production area in northeastern China, nearly 90 reservoirs of clean water are increasingly drying up, and nearly 25,000 wells do not have enough water to supply people.

Chinese news agencies insist that Liaoning province is suffering from an unprecedented drought in the last 30 years due to high temperatures combined with too little rainfall. According to the government, in many parts of Inner Mongolia, cattle died massively because there was no grass left to eat and water became rare for the people here.
