Chinese living mummy Buddha becomes a golden statue before entering the temple
The dharma of the monk is enshrined as the Buddha living in China transformed into a beautiful golden statue 4 years after he passed away.
Venerable Phuc Hau passed away in 2012 after spending most of his time practicing at Sung Phuc temple in Quanzhou city in southeast China.The temple decided to embalm the monk Phuc Hau to commemorate his contribution to Buddhism and inspire religious followers.(Photo: AP).
Venerable Phuc Hau took refuge in the Buddha's door at the age of 13 and devoted his life to spiritual practice before his death at the age of 94.
