A robot called Chubby suddenly broke the pavilion at the 18th International High-tech Fair, held in Wuzhen, China, causing a man to be injured, Sina said on Nov. 18.
Chubby Robot is a co-production between Evolver and the Robotics Institute of Beijing University of Aeronautics, which aims to teach children from 4 to 12 years of age. It costs about $ 1,890.
On November 17, when it was on display at the fair, the robot suddenly smashed the display panel, ruining the counter. Field photographs showed that a wounded man was taken off the stretcher immediately after.

Fair organizers said the incident occurred due to errors in the operation of people. The operator confused the "up" and "down" buttons, causing the robot to break glass, injuring the surrounding. However, the incident still worries many Chinese people about the safety of the robot.
