Chinese space station caught fire in the South Atlantic sky

The Thien Cung-1 station entered the Earth's atmosphere at an uncontrollable speed, and caught fire in the sky about 482 kilometers east of southern America, according to Sputnik .

At 7:30 on April 2 (Vietnam time) , the Chinese space station falls at a speed of about 26,000 km / hour and enters the atmosphere at an unspecified coordinates. At that time, Thien Cung-1 was at a height of 121km, following live feed from the Volcano Watch page.

Meanwhile, the China Manned Space Engineering Office (CMSEO) thinks there is nothing to worry about the falling Heavenly Palace-1, according to AFP on March 30.

On WeChat, CMSEO reassured that this space station's atmospheric process would create a glorious view in the night sky, like a meteor shower, not as dangerous as in sci-fi movies.

Thien Cung-1 was launched into orbit in 2011 and was described as China's "powerful political symbol" , contributing to the ambition of turning the country into a "space superpower".

However, after only a few years of operation, Beijing in 2016 confirmed the information that lost the ability to control Thien Cung-1 and it will fall to earth in 2018.

Most of the Heavenly-1 parts are thought to burn down when they pass through the atmosphere, but the remaining fragments can still weigh up to 100kg when grounded. Although it is impossible to determine the fall of Thien Cung-1, the Chinese authorities affirmed that the risk of casualties and ground losses is very low.
