Ngoc Linh Ginseng is a rare product that has been successfully propagated

Recently, the Institute collaborated with some businesses in Kon Tum to experiment Ngoc Ngoc ginseng which was cloned in Tu Mo Rong district with the proportion of live trees accounted for 90%. Ginseng adapt and thrive in places near streams, under the canopy of primeval forest. Ideal height for ginseng growing and growing is 1.800m above sea level.

In addition, Kon Tum province actively implemented conservation and development of Ngoc Linh ginseng according to the size of households growing, caring and managing. This is a model if adequate investment will bring practical effects, contributing to poverty reduction for ethnic minority households.

However, according to Assoc. Dr. Duong Tan Nhut to improve Ngoc Linh ginseng cultivation technology needs more research and experimentation.
