"From this morning we will re-examine the implementation of body temperature monitoring at the airport. 100% of foreign visitors, especially those from countries with H7N9 influenza through the airport, must be strictly inspected , " he said. Nam said.

The representative of Ho Chi Minh City International Quarantine Center said that the body temperature gauges were installed at the passengers' exits. People with high body temperature will be invited to the isolation ward for the doctor to examine more carefully the epidemiological factors.

Also according to the International Quarantine Center, the process of controlling H7N9 flu has been strictly implemented as during the SARS (2002) and A / H1N1 (2009). In addition to body temperature testing, people suspected of being infected can be isolated and conduct intensive testing.

In China, from the middle of February, there have been consecutive cases of H7N9 flu in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui. By April 5, 14 people in the country were sick, of which 6 died.

Influenza A / H7N9 is a new influenza virus originating from poultry. According to the World Health Organization, this is the first time this strain has caused serious illness for humans, leading to death. So far there is no evidence that the disease can be transmitted from person to person.
